Key Responsibilities

Personal Care for Elders

• Assist elderly individuals with grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Support toileting needs with sensitivity and full respect for dignity
• Help elders move safely within the home, including walking support
• Monitor condition, comfort levels, and physical changes, report to family

Health & Wellness Support

• Remind elders of prescribed medication timings
• Observe and report changes in mood, appetite, or behavior to the family
• Encourage light physical activity and safe movement within the home
• Coordinate with family members on health updates and care needs

Daily Living Assistance

• Help with meal preparation and serving food suited to dietary requirements
• Support elders with day-to-day routines including morning rituals and bedtime prep
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment for the elder
• Run small household errands or assist with organizing appointments

Emotional Companionship

• Provide genuine social engagement-conversations, reading, shared television time
• Offer reassurance and steady emotional presence during stressful moments
• Understand the elder's preferences and respect their independence where possible

Professional Conduct

• Wear the CareOff uniform and present a clean, professional appearance
• Maintain family privacy and adhere to household rules
• Communicate regularly and transparently with family members
• Be punctual and report in advance for any unavailability

Requirements

• Age: 18-30 years
• Male and Female candidates welcome
• English, Hindi, and Kannada communication skills
• Patience, reliability, and genuine empathy for senior citizens
• No prior Elder Caregiver experience required-CareOff trains all candidates
