Key Responsibilities

Companionship & Emotional Support

• Spend quality, engaged time with the child or elder in your care
• Offer conversation, presence, and emotional reassurance
• Understand and respond to the emotional needs of those in your care
• Build a warm, trusting relationship with the household

Child Companion Duties

• Engage children in creative play, storytelling, and age-appropriate activities
• Support children with dressing, grooming, and daily habits
• Organize play spaces, books, and activity materials
• Follow meal times, rest schedules, and family-approved routines
• Accompany children to school, parks, or activities as directed

Elder Companion Duties

• Accompany elders during walks, garden visits, or indoor activities
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Provide gentle mobility support and reminders for medication
• Share conversations, read aloud, or watch programs together
• Monitor the elder's mood and report any changes to the family

Professional Standards

• Maintain a well-groomed appearance in CareOff uniform
• Respect household confidentiality and family privacy
• Communicate proactively and politely with the family
• Maintain punctuality and inform families of any schedule changes

Requirements

• Age: 18-30 years
• Open to Male and Female applicants
• English, Hindi, and Kannada required
• Warm, approachable personality with strong empathy
• No prior experience required-free training provided by CareOff
